Visit the famous Preveli palm beach – one of the most popular “tourist destinations” of Crete. Here Megalopotamos river surrounded by the palm trees, enters the sea. The view and the beach are unique so place is unique. But you do not have to “do” this beach in a traditional, touristic way. We offer you a different way to experience its beauty and uniqueness than traditional sunbathing with the crowd of other tourists.

We invite you to a 4-wheel drive car, during which you will experience the diversity of the landscape of this corner of Crete. From mountain slopes with views of olive groves, hills over Plakias Bay, gorges overgrown with oleanders to gravel roads winding along the wild, unorganized beaches of the south. The Preveli beach can not be reached by car. Asphalt leads to a parking lot on a steep cliff above the beach. However, thanks to the gravel road we will get to the Preveli from the opposite side, where the cliff is much gentler, and thus easier. Already after a short walk, we will see the vertical walls of the ravine and the river flowing into the sea, in a wreath of palm fronds. We will tell you about the strength and uniqueness of Cretan nature. There will be an opportunity for swimming, a moment of rest and a walk along the palm path. On the way back we will be accompanied by a secluded landscape of the wild coast, stretching far to the east of the crowded palm beach.
